Where did May go?

I think somewhere in this month there was the month of May, I think, but I'm not sure.

Help me out here, what happened in May? OH yes!

For my birthday (May 7th) we drove to Vancouver, BC as a family for a friends wedding (that didn't happen when we got there, long happy story though). It was a fantastic weekend anyway.

We arrived in White Rock, BC May 6th, and just vegged for the night. In the morning we all boarded a ferry to the Island, and we enjoyed a sunny, wind-free day in Victoria. We picnicked at Beacon Hill Park, we visited the Royal BC museum (My FAVE of all the Museums out there, so far), and then hung out at the ferry terminal for 2 ferry sailings waiting to get back to the mainland to be back in time for the Vancouver Canucks game. We are HUGE fans! We ordered pizza, and I fell asleep at 9pm. Yes. I'm 32 now, and I'm old beans!

The next day was super fun too. I hung out with an old friend, and we let our kids play at the park across the street, and it was so nice to catch up and giggle like no time has passed. That night we hung out with the "bride and groom" who were supposed to be married that day, and I had a super tremendous time getting to know the Bride. She's an awesome lady, and I'm so happy to say that they are married now for time and all eternity! (as of last friday)

We went to church the next sunday in Langley, (our old stomping grounds) and surprised a few families. I just love surprising people! The weather was fantastic, and I couldn't ask for a better time!

We drove home the next day and it was fabulous with all the kids. They did great, and we had a blast driving! Really.

Hmmm what else happened in May?

I went to my first Passion Party...yes I purchased some fun stuff. I'm having my own Passion party soon! Oh I smell trouble!

The sunshine came out full force, and I loved soaking up every last minute of the sunshine! I loved it, especially now that its raining and gloomy and sad at the moment.

My new calling (Relief Society 2nd Councilor) makes me in charge over the Enrichment Activities, and I was in charge of our May 20th GO Green Night. I spoke for over 40 minutes on making home made cleaners, laundry detergent, and how to be more environmentally friendly. SUPER FUN night!

My youngest son, Lliam turned 2, May 24th!! IT was such a good day. We flew kites in the park, picnicked, and ate cupcakes. Then we poured some plasticine into moulds and we made garden stepping stones with the kids. Perfect day!

The next day, my youngest sister had her baby BOY, Patrick! He's adorable, and she and baby are doing excellent!

This weekend is my boss's 40th birthday party, and its going to be a wicked awesome party! All catered, and DJ'd, and wow, fun times to come!

Then NEXT WEEEKEND....

PHOENIX ARIZONA!!! WIll blog about that!

That is one jam-packed full month. And there's more to come, too? You must NEVER stop moving. Or, at least, not before 9pm. ;)
