Getting Better

Well, I didn't get my puppy. I felt that the money could go for other smart things. But, seriously, I wanted him...its just a matter of time before we can get the puppy we want at the right time.

I've been so busy family reunioning, having fun days with Anthony and Lliam, its been great! I truly feel like I'm getting better, I'm not there 100% yet, but getting there. My house still needs to be tended to, but both kids are demanding my attention opposite one another. There are worse things in life than a messy house, and clean unfolded laundry. I could be depressed with a messy house and dirty laundry! LOL

Last friday, we had my sister come into town for a mini vacation. Her and her family took me and my boys to Calaway Park. It was a hot day, but oh so fun. The boys loved it. I feel so awful that our boys are such shrimps that they couldn't go on even half the kiddie rides. Then later on in the evening, we all went to Chuck E Cheese. Very Fun. I haven't been to a CEC, for about 18 years! It was no where near as creepy as when I was a kid. Those Mousy Anamatronic musicals were freaky!!! A long day, was welcomed by a long sleep!

Then the following day, we went to the zoo with all the kids again. We got there at 9am, and stayed until 2pm! We saw all the exhibits. It was a little disappointing that when we went through the African exhibit, that the hippos and girraffs weren't out in their pens. We saw THE cutest baby gorilla! OH my, it was so cute! So amazing how the mother can carry it around with ease and accuracy. I love nature!

I've got quite the sunburn, that's now a perfect farmer's tan. But it was fun times. The weekend before last was our Jensen Family reunion in Cardston. As tradition goes, we always attend the family softball tournament. The rules state that there must be at least 2 female players on the team playing. On friday night, there were no girls but my cousin Laura (who hardly played in her life, if ever) and myself (just had a baby just weeks ago, and totally out of shape and squishy) Yeah, we lost all of our games! I hope next year I am more in shape to get the job done! A vicious ball player! We also watched the Heritage days Parade in Cardston. I happend to meet up with Marci and her new hubby Andrew. Very fun times, and I was so happy to spend time with them. Anthony had such a blast chasing down all the thrown candy from the floats! During our last ball game, I got to hook up with Cyn. Her daughter just fell in love with Lliam. I was so flattered that he's the cute baby he is LOL. I made a purchase at Cyn's mom's store in Cardston. Actually, it was something that I've been chasing down for months now. :D

We had our Jensen Family reunion right after that last ball game. It was so fabulous to see all our family Grandma's new house. We had a great BBQ in the back yard, and was so great to see cousins that I haven't seen in years. I love my family and my heritage. Isn't it nice to be proud of who you are and where you come from?

It was so nice to spend a little bit of time with you in Cardston, Djo. I miss you so much and I'm glad I got to have some laughs with you. I'm not sure who collected more candy, though; Andrew or Anthony!! Much love :)
